The wife, some friends, and I went to go see Evergreen Terrace last night.  Amazing show... It wasn't in a huge room with a huge stage and huge speakers and tons of people.  It was in a little hole in the wall, tiny stage, and crappy speakers.  It reminded me of the old days when I used to play shows.  All the scene kids were out in full force... well, half force because they're so tiny now.  Seems like when I was into all that everyone was about 7'6" and 300 lbs.  I will refrain from commenting on the dancing, but let's just say NC definitely needs to bring some influence to these chaps. 

I don't think I was disappointed at all with any of the four bands.  I am partial to Evergreen Terrace since I've been listening to them for a long time.  They played a good mix from all the albums and ended the night with "No Donnie, These Men Are Nihilist."  If you ask me, there's not really a better song name out there.  Also, that's a line from "The Big Lebowski," a great movie on it's own.  Wrapping it up, I had a great time and I think the wife had a wonderful time.  I'm fortunate to have a great wife that goes to shows with me and actually digs some of the bands! 

Annnnnnnnnnd.. what's a show without a fight? (inside joke time in 3....2.....1) "Who was that guy?"

Still debating on the Advent show on Sunday.  If we end up going I'm sure you'll hear about it.

i second the had a lot of fun last night part. i also second how wonderful i am...haha. You're wonderful too...that's prob why we are just so wonderful together. Anyway, all i gotta say is maybe skull jacket shoulda got hit..just once though.
