Had A Great Idea:

Had a great idea for a new post, but it's gonna take a while to work it up.  Hope you won't be too disappointed, I think it's gonna be a gem, which in turn means it's going to make 0 sense.  So for now, let the mindless rambling continue.

I apologize for the lack of posts on my part lately.  I had a training class at work and my sister-in-law came down to get married.  It's been an eventful few weeks to say the least.  Sometimes here at work it can get pretty unbearable to work on another spreadsheet or add another number together, in these instances I turn to WIKIPEDIA! The undeniable source of term paper BS and semi-true aggregate of useless information.  I use these times to fill my head with as much nonsense as possible.  If there's a new band, I'll go learn what I can about them.  If there's a movie out, I'll read all about it on Wikipedia.  You can pretty much find your own biography on there, and you'll have no idea how it got there.  I'm just sayin.. ever feel like you're being followed, or the guy at the urinal is staring at you while you try to think about running water and making that "hissssss" noise to get over the stage-fright of having a middle-aged overweight man sweating over the side of the urinal shield?? Well... that's Mr. Wiki... he follows everyone everywhere every-time (I know it should be all the time, but I had a thing going).

Anyway... I'm sure you've used Wikipedia at some point in your school career, unless you're home schooled, then you have to remember to erase the browser history so your "mom-teacher" doesn't find the cookie trail to your "research."  The topic for today's mindless blunder? Deja Vu' of course!  According to the wiki, around 70% of the population have reported of experiencing some type of deja vu' in their lives.  For some reason I feel like I experience this phenomenon almost regular.  At least once a month, maybe a little less (we'll go with every month and a half).  If you don't know what deja vu' is, it's the feeling of familiarity usually stemming from a particular surrounding or chain of events.  Basically, it's feeling like you've been somewhere before, or you've have the same conversation, with the same person, in the same setting, wearing the same clothes, saying the exact same words.  It's also accompanied by a type of "weirdness" or "strangeness" and sometimes a feeling of "light-headedness."

Most people chalk this up to a couple of different reasons.  The most popular, I would say, is the "dream."  This is the theory that deja vu' is from dreaming, maybe you've dreamed of something similar, just enough that your mind has the room to loosely interpret the event as familiar/similar.  I tend to dis-spell this theory based on the fact that I've had deja vu' while in places I've NEVER been before with people whom I've never conversed with.

Second theory: Mystic powers... worst of the three...  This theory states that deja vu' is a symbol of having a higher "psychic power."  I tend to call this theory the psycho theory... sorry.. didn't mean to get all "Minority Report" on you.

Third: Reincarnation... again... crazy talk.. Deja Vu' is the fragmentation of memories from a "past life" or from an "out of body experience."  I'm not too familiar with bull crap, I mean I've stepped in it.. but you get my drift... plus if you're a human in one life...and you come back as a human in the next life... aren't you doing something wrong?  Shouldn't you be an eagle... or a ferret?

Ok, so here goes MY theory.. I'm a time traveler..  c'mon, these things have to be related.  Just like "Back to the Future I, II, and III."  There is a main time line in which we are born and experience until the first encounter with time travel.  As soon as we "skip" through time, we are transmitted to an alternate but tangent time line.  This time line is in sync with the other time line, the same experiences occur.. UNTIL you are skipped through time.  Like a smooth stone on the lake, you create a ripple which can cause one or more of these time lines to be altered.  There are some risks involved with time traveling though.  You cannot and must not encounter your previous self in the alternate time line.  This can cause a major breakage in the Space/Time Continuum.

I used to think time travel was a crock, until reading this article on deja vu' today and how cray their theories were.  Time travel is the only one that makes sense, you know?  I used to be the first to say.. we'll never be able to time travel because if we could time travel then we would be meeting people from the future!  But now.. I'm thinking.. no we wouldn't because these "future-elites" would be hiding from us so as not to tear the Space/Time Continuum!  Duh!! Wow... I need to get on the phone with Mr. Hawkings ASAP.

I'm full of it.. ask my wife  867-5309 (you'll get it later).
