The wife was sick yesterday, and I mean siiiick.  I made it to work for a bit then ran home to help her out.  I felt bad for her but she seems to be feeling better.  Unfortunately... I think I may be getting it...  I hope not but I'm sniffling and sneezing and wheezing and all the joys that come along with it. 

On another page, I'm sick and tired of this weather.  75, 30, 75, 25, 75, 30...just stay 75.  I'm definitely ready for summer.  The wife and I hope to be a little more active this summer, no moving or graduating, just enjoying this little city.  There seems to be a lot to do around here, a lot of food places we haven't visited for sure, plus there is always just hanging out at the beach.  Maybe we'll learn how to wrestle sharks (now you have to keep reading every day to see if we succeed)!

Sorry for all the randomness (word?), just have a lot going through my head, it should be work, but you see where that gets me.  I purchased a new guitar amp on Tuesday, freaking brilliant.  Secured the new Peavey Vypyr (pronounced "viper").  It's along the lines of a Line 6 amp which combines a ton of effects and amp simulators into a little combo amplifier.  Since my name isn't Dimebag, I opted for the 15 watt.  Maybe when I get recruited for Coheed and Cambria I'll get the 75 watt. 

I worked on some new PHP scripts for the site this morning.  Stuff that the average reader will never realize is working the shadows, but helps me with maintenance and the like.  Through my endeavors, noticed that the old Google Bot is lurking around!  Dang you Google Bot!  Haha, just kidding!  I'm sure this is the only site that "Chowlb" returns any results anyway :)

Also, I have a delima.. something I'm sure someone has come across trying to be a "blogger" like myself.  When you are using parenthesis (), how do you end them with a smiley face??

If anyone has a great solution, please let me know.  Maybe I should just stop using smiley faces... kind of AOL/AIM at this point huh?
