So I know it's a little late to talk about Rock of Love coming to an end... but what the heck happened?!?  The two finalists were a down home motherly type of girl, Mindy, and a gold digging penthouse pet, Taya.  Oh, and who can forget the rapidly aging and falling from the spotlight Bret Michaels.  Let us not shadow the fact that this is season THREE!  FYI: cowboy hat, eye liner, bandanna surgically implanted to skull = brokeback jealousy

The only thing I'll really give to Bret is that he was one of the pioneers in these "[insert name here] of love" shenanigans.  Let's look at the list so far:

This is getting out of control... I think most of these people need counseling.  Although I have to admit,  I've watched almost every single one of these.  Ok enough of that, let's get back to Bret and his "decision."

So Mindy was a sure choice for the wife and I.  How could it not be?  She didn't have anything to lose, no baggage, no kids, she could pack up and hit the road with "The Bret Michaels' Band" in an instant.  The competition on the other hand, Taya, is/was a penthouse pet. Since day one on the tour there were questions as to whether or not she was there for Bret or to promote penthouse, and judging by the way that every other word out of her mouth was "Penthouse" and in every freakin interview she was wearing a Penthouse shirt, well I had a bad feeling.  Bret even figured out what was going on, and he still picked her!! It was just a let down...I'm sure season 4 is just around the corner now. 

Maybe Mindy will get her own show? If Daisy can do it...

I'm not even going to get into the Hills episode.. there's nothing to say there except the lady that runs "People's Revolution" needs to get off of her trusty steed, as do most people in the fashion industry.  Take care of the people that put you in your position.  If it wasn't for all those teenagers and young adults that think your clothes are pretty or your fashion magazine is "da bomb" you wouldn't even be where you are.  The fashion industry isn't a necessity, it's a privilege.

Sorry... I got worked up.

PS: For the Love of a Shot of Chowlb of Love Season 1 is cancelled.

ok first of all, i believe someone *wink wink* is bashing on bret michaels a little too much. you know you love EVERYYYY ROSE HAS ITS THORN! Just like every night has its dawn....you get the picture. I am a little angry about his choice too, but at least that means we may be up for another rock of love! you know you like watching it. ALSO-the season of love chowlb whatever crap...don't even get me started. YOU'RE MINE!! :)
