I was going through my normal web routine of Digg, Icanhascheezburger, and XKCD. Nothing special, a few chuckles here and there, sent a few LOLCATS to the friends to make their days brighter (as if my presence isn't enough) and then I stumbled upon this gem...

The kicker? Batteries not included! Dangit...
You would think they could have found a better name for this.. let's say.. the battery power transfer device.
"Now anyone can transfer the power from one AA to another! Tired of all those Energizer commercials and their crazy silver wrappers? Are you sick of people making fun of you because you use Energizer and not Duracell?? WAIT NO MORE! Now you can harness that Energizer power, but put it in a Duracell battery! Up to 1000 times!!!"
Also notice at the bottom of the packaging a nice little cell phone... WTF? When is the last time your cell phone took AA's??
On to the next order of business.
I frequent a website called "Expert Village" to get tips on things. From wiring electronics to mowing the grass properly. Today is a different day..

Call me crazy... Notice how the video actually starts with him saying "Now that we've uploaded pictures, added music, added eleventy billion friends, spammed the Queen of England, and hacked into the International Space Station.. here's how you log out and log back in.."
Not a rocket surgeon or brain scientist, but don't you have to log in to do all those things to begin with?
Kicker #1: the video is over 1 minute long...
Kicker #2: It's been viewed over 10,000 times...
Let's take another look at why I find Expert Village amusing.
To the World... I give you Tad Donley...
How to Choose a Computer for Your Home Recording Studio -- powered by ExpertVillage.com
This guy is freaking awesome ("I've got a couple keyboards here [uncomfortable mumbling] that helps [more mumbles]", helps what Tad? Finish your sentence...better yet... start one). He has a ton of videos posted about recording studios, this is one of the better ones I've found. Don't worry if you don't know what he's talking about.. he doesn't either. Some of the clips are seemingly cut short, can't say that I blame the camera guy either. I think I need to have a conversation with the genius that said "Hey Tad... comb your hair and let's go make some educational videos, it'll be great."
Not to knock the guy too hard, sometimes he does make valid points, through the stuttering...
TAD ROCK!
