I fancy myself a somewhat intelligent individual.  I don't drool on myself that often, I can usually make it to the bathroom in time, and I can speak in relatively complete sentences.  I've have many years of education and a couple pieces of paper to vouch for me. 

On that note, I've had this dream of wiring the house with network drops, mainly so I can extend my entertainment (i.e. xbox, media centers, etc) to the nether-regions of my house.  This comes with a great price tag, so needless to say I've been hanging on the idea for quite some time.  For some reason, today was the day to start looking back into it for the 100th time, and check some prices on equipment.  Aside from the network cable, wall plates, and various tools I would need to procure, I also need a new network switch (preferably 1000mbps or Gigabit).  A while ago, these were hard to come by and very expensive.  A quick Google search got me to where I needed to be and I found an astonishing deal!!  I must share!
